The first episode of the KOFF Ton-Trägers is dedicated to the 20th anniversary of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 on Women, Peace and Security. As Flurina Derungs of PeaceWomen Across the Globe says in the interview for this podcast, "the resolution was a milestone in international peace policy, as for the first time it places the needs and concerns of women at the centre of peace efforts". But even 20 years after its adoption, the implementation of the resolution remains difficult and women are still underrepresented and not equal to men in peace processes.
